Sandy Departs Leaving Tragedy; Firestorm of Benghazi Cover Up Continues
As Obama attempts to cling to her skirts and stand tall, the storm of fury over the Benghazi cover up will not subside, and continues to lower his stature.
Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC), John McCain (R-Ariz.), Congressmen Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and Mike Kelly (R-PA), among other powerful voices, will not back down.
This past Sunday, Congressman Kelly expressed his outrage as he blasted Obama and stated:
“I am appalled by the dereliction of duty that’s taken place by this administration. We’ve got to get to the bottom of this and we’ve got to get it fixed.”
Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Congressman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), has spearheaded the official investigation into the Benghazi Cover Up, even as he simultaneously contends for justice over the Fast and Furious scandal. Issa has no intention of backing down over Benghazi or Fast and Furious. This past Monday, he issued a report on Fast and Furious that condemns the Justice Department, and Attorney General Eric Holder.
In the most recent development of Benghazi Gate, Ali Ani al Harzia, a Tunisian who was spotted on camera during the attack on the Consulate in Benghazi, has been taken into custody and is being held in Tunisia. Last night, Senator Graham went on the record with Greta Van Susteren of Fox News and expressed his frustration that the United States does not have access to this latest detainee.
John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the UN, agreed with Senator Graham. This morning, Senator Graham took action, and a copy of his letter to Tunisian authorities has been posted by Greta Van Susteren. You will find it at Fox News, here. In addition to the letter from Senator Graham, there are also links there to letters from Senator McCain and other legislators to Obama. Here is an excerpt from their letter, as Fox continues excellent vital coverage of Benghazi-Gate:
“The American people and their representatives in Congress need to understand what you knew about the Benghazi terrorist attack and when you knew it. We also have a right to know what steps you and your administration took—or failed to take—before, during, and after the terrorist attack to protect American lives.” ~Excerpt from a letter to President Obama, October 31, 2012, by Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Kelly Ayotte and Ron Johnson.
And America is paying close attention. All across the country, as mainstream media ignores the cover up and attempts to cast Romney in a negative light, questions are being asked and answers sought, apart from mainstream media.
The investigation continues, and a formal hearing has been set to take place in November after the election. Senator Graham believes Obama is “running out the clock” and attempting to stall revelations of the truth in order to prevail in the election. No doubt, this is the case.
Nevertheless, as legislators in power demand answers, and the facts continue to shine light on that horrific night, Obama’s support begins to wane as surely as Hurricane Sandy’s strength.
Is Obama’s Charisma Failing to Carry the Day?
Out on the street, in the wake of Benghazi, there are new ominous signs for Obama that even among those presumed to be his supporters, he provokes revulsion. At a recent concert Madonna attempted to rally the faithful in support of Obama. Much to her suprise, many booed in response, walked out in protest, and left Madonna fumbling on stage.
The fact that some in her audience abandoned her political ploy is telling. Perhaps more telling is the obvious reality that they deserted Obama that night.
It is unknown at this time if Madonna will apply another fake Obama tattoo and strip for Obama again in a renewed effort to galvanize her troops – as she did in a publicity stunt that feigned support for the young heroine, Malala Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban. One thing we can all count on however, for better or worse: Madonna will continue to show her arse.
Powerful Voices Demand Justice
In a scathing article in the Washington Times, Retired Adm. James A. Lyons, former commander in chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet and senior U.S. military representative to the United Nations, left no leeway for excuses as he condemned the Obama administration:
“The Obama national security team, including CIA, DNI, State Department and the Pentagon, watched and listened to the assault but did nothing to answer repeated calls for assistance. It has been reported that President Obama met with Vice President Joseph R. Biden and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta in the Oval Office, presumably to see what support could be provided. After all, we had very credible military resources within striking distance.”
Additional high ranking and distinguished military veterans have joined Lyons in the outcry for justice.
Brigadier General Joseph S. Stringham, US Army (Ret.), is the Chief Executive Officer of “Special Operations Speaks“. They are fully covering the Benghazi Cover Up. And they are demanding that the Obama administration stop leaking information such as the leak that resulted in the death of 22 Seal Team Six members and others, when Al Qaeda shot down their helicopter in retaliation for the death of Osama Bin Laden. Please consider visiting their site and supporting their very worthwhile efforts.
Meanwhile, forsaking political partsianship, Democratic Pollster Pat Caddell, made no effort to tone down his outrage over the Benghazi Cover Up, when he joined Judge Jeanine Pirro and Ann Coulter on Fox. He spoke to the blatent media bias which has ignored the Benghazi Cover Up, and angrily declared the press to be “a fundamental threat to the Democracy of America, and an enemy of the people”.
As millions of Americans climb from the horrible rubble left in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, millions more appropriately unite in prayer and efforts for their relief. But as the waves subside and her winds abate, they fail to dissipate the flames and smoke of Benghazi. The national firestorm of outrage generated by a blatent and horrendous cover up in our highest echelons of power continues to strengthen. It may yet alter the course of our national history forever.
“Somebody high up in the administration made the decision that no assistance (outside our Tripoli embassy) would be provided, and let our people be killed.” ~Retired Adm. James A. Lyons, former commander in chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet and senior U.S. military representative to the United Nations.
