Honor Under Seige in St. Lucie County: Congressman Allen West Leads the Charge Against Voter Fraud
There is a serious miscarriage of justice occuring in St. Lucie County, Florida. And though it may be occuring on the local scene in Florida, it is of national interest. It speaks to the ominous reality of voter fraud, and it calls into question the integrity of a critical fundamental freedom: The vote. It is also about to cost us one of our finest legislators in Congress, Congressman Allen West.
It cannot be stated here how important it is that the integrity of the vote is maintained. It is the vote which installs every significant legislator from local councilmen, to the highest levels of power in the White House. And these days, there is ample reason to suspect voter fraud on a national level.
At this moment however, in St. Lucie County, Florida, the nation is on the brink of losing one of the finest patriots in our Congress because of a combination of voter fraud and blatent incompetancy, or perhaps better said, voter fraud and obstruction of the vote.
What is at stake here is who really won the vote for Congressman of that district? If officials and Democrats in St. Lucie county have their way, we may never know. And this is dire for several reasons. We cannot allow the integrity of the vote to be compromised. Our leaders are representatives of the people and their role is a critical role that upholds the very foundations of our nation. We also cannot allow public trust in the vote to become eroded. This has already occured somewhat because of rampant voter fraud cases in the Democrat party, and these cases have gained national and worldwide attention. They have also made their way to the courts, and have been proven to have occured.
What is equally apparent, is that we cannot afford to lose a legislator like Congressman West for no other reason than that we are being forced to have bogus inexperienced legislators thrust upon us via compromised election results. Particulary inexperienced legislators like 29 year old Democrat Patrick Murphy, who have nothing to show for their public accomplishments but a criminal record and a rise to Congress based on the highly questionable outcome of election results that have been awarded based on a technicality – a technicality that occured during a recount over votes that were in question from the onset.
And as Democrat Patrick Murphy, the 29 year old supposed “winner” of Congressman West’s seat, prepares to be sworn into Congress, that is exactly what is occuring.
Who is Patrick Murphy and How Did This Happen?
We know a great deal about Congressman West, who has a proven record of fighting tooth and nail for the citizens of Florida and the nation as a whole. As for Patrick Murphy, we know little, and what we do know is disturbing. Because we know the only public record of Patrick Murphy is accurate:
As a 19-year-old freshman college student in 2003, Murphy was arrested outside a Miami Beach night club on charges of disorderly intoxication and possessing a fake driver license. The arrest affidavit said Murphy and his friend were escorted from the club by security, appeared drunk and were disrupting business near the club entrance. After being warned they would be arrested if they didn’t leave, Murphy and his friend left in a cab, but the cab returned with the driver complaining that the passengers were drunk and refused to pay. The intoxication charge was ultimately dropped for lack of evidence and the fake ID charge was dismissed.
We are not told whether or not the cab driver was paid. But America at large may now be ripped off by Murphy and his supporters over far much more than unpaid cab fare.
For those unfamiliar with the current emergency, here is a brief background of what occured election night and the bogus results from St. Lucie county that may yet cost Congressman West his seat:
Democrat Patrick Murphy, who leads West by some 2,000 votes, is trying to stop a full recount of controversial early ballots cast in St. Lucie County. His current victory margin is just large enough to avoid triggering an automatic recall of all precincts and all votes….Then there is Gertrude Walker, the 32-year-veteran election supervisor of St. Lucie County, who has spent much of the last two weeks explaining why her office completely botched the count. She admitted that her office had acted in “haste” in issuing election results, and that “mistakes were made.” Among her mistakes was failing to count 40 of the 94 precincts under her jurisdiction on Election Night — and then counting the other 54 twice. Indeed. On Friday, her office announced it had “discovered” 304 additional early votes left in a box. None had been counted….
Now because of the utter incompetency, which may be more akin to corruption as will be shortly shown, the clock continued to tick and uphold the bogus results while Gertrude Walker held up the works with little more than explanations and excuses which were as bogus as the results she originally tallied. Therefore, at the eleventh hour, Florida’s Secretary of State was forced to send in an auditor, and it was then that the St. Lucie County Canvassing board voted to conduct a complete recount of all of the early ballots. Unfortunately, time was slipping away in favor of Patrick Murphy. The results had to be certified by noon on Sunday, yesterday, November 18, 2012.
The fevered rush for the recount commenced on Saturday, but was halted at 8 pm because the security system was going to activate later that night. Some noted and protested that it had been shut off before, and hoped to continue the count. In the end, they were still counting as the clock approached the noon hour deadline yesterday. And another malfunction occured making it impossible to complete the recount accurately.
It was then, that Patrick Murphy’s camp declared “victory” based on the technicallity of the clock running out in the face of two weeks worth of blunder, incompetence, and a malfunctioning voting machine immediately before the deadline. All of the above leads to corruption of the vote.
Nor is this the first rodeo for St. Lucie county when it comes to voter fraud and corruption. The same can be said of Ms. Gertrude Walker, the supervisor of elections who was responsible for this charade. Here is a bit more from the same article quoted above, which contains a closer look at Ms. Walker, whom America can thank for the possible undoing of one of our finest Congressmen:
Walker has a history of abetting or ignoring sloppy election procedures. In 2003, a state-appointed task force of six election experts found that Mariam Oliphant, the then–Supervisor of Elections in Broward County, was incapable of running her office and counting votes correctly. Among other problems, she had hired a homeless man who refused to count certain ballots…..The task force recommended removing Oliphant from office. The only dissenter was Gertrude Walker, even though local NAACP chapters had urged Oliphant, who like Walker is African American, to step down from her position for reasons of incompetence…….In her own county, Walker dragged her feet at implementing any efforts to remove dead voters, felons, or non-citizens from the voter rolls.
To read more see West Fights On amid Vote-Recount Mayhem.
And so we learn that Ms. Walker is the successor of a previous corrupt or incompetent elections supervisor in St. Lucie county. Furthermore, based on the above, Ms. Walker proved early on that she is no better. Unfortunately, no one ever removed Ms. Walker as they did Ms. Oliphant, which allowed Ms. Walker to continue the tradition and thus, possibly destroy Congressman Allen West’s bid for re-election. The article goes on to say, that for some reason Ms. Walker has been hospitalized. Some may be tempted to ponder instant Karma.
Most citizens of Florida are fully aware that sharks can be dangerous.
Some have found out the hard way that they can be sneaky as well. Fewer still are aware that certain sharks had a hand in the outcome of the current election in Florida. In addition to aid from unscrupulous election officials, Patrick Murphy has also been helped by some heavy hitting political sharks, like Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and George Soros, who launched a massive multi million dollar slander campaign against West via a SuperPAC called “Dump West”.
And while there can be little doubt that the election results in St. Lucie county have been utterly compromised, resulting in anything but a “victory” for Patrick Murphy, what has yet to be determined is whether or not these political sharks have succeeded.
We do not yet know the outcome of this election, so we can’t say for sure.
What is not in question is that they have certainly been aided and abetted in a huge way by officials like Ms. Gertrude Walker.
So now we have met Patrick Murphy, and those who have propelled him to power. But there is another important aspect of Murphy that all Americans should be aware of: His motivation for running for office. Patrick Murphy did not run for Congress because of a love for country. At the above link, we learn that Murphy ran for West’s seat because he did not like “some of the things” that Congressman West was saying in Congress, and on television.
What might those things be? Could it be when Congressman West, who is an expert on Jihadist terrorism, openly exposed the Muslim Brotherhood and declared them to be the threat they are? West was very vocal about it. And it’s a good thing. Is this what West said that bothered Murphy so much? Does Murphy support Hamas and Islamic Jihad of Palestine, who are both offshoots of the Muslim Brotherhood? It is both groups, who have recently united and are currently continuing to bombard Israel with rockets because she defended herself against terror attacks which had put 800 rockets and mortars on her soil between January of this year and October alone.
Maybe Patrick Murphy is okay with the fact that Al Qaeda second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahiri began his Islamist career as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Or maybe he saw nothing to be disturbed about when tens of thousands of Muslim Brotherhood supporters voted a Muslim Brotherhood member into office in Egypt, and subseqeuntly participated in the September uprisings by storming the United States embassy, and lowering our flag to set it on fire – while wielding an Islamist extremist black flag.
Could it be that Murphy did not like what Congressman West had to say about the Muslim Brotherhood? Perhaps. It is far more likely that, unlike Allen West, Patrick Murphy is utterly ignorant of Jihadist terrorism, and incapable of making sound judgement pertaining to our national security.
Could it be he didn’t like what West “said”, because Congressman West has vehemently fought against sequestration? The same sequestration which will not only thoroughly aid in destroying our economy futher, but will bring devastating Defense cuts to our military. Defense cuts that will not only cripple our armed forces and harm our troops, but these cuts will do so while we are in the midst of opposing a vicious and determined Global Jihad, fighting against those sworn to destroy us and the free world at large.
Maybe Murphy was offended by West’s words when Congressman West rightly noted that Democratic National Chairman, Debbie Wasserman Shultz, was incapable of telling the truth, and misleads the American people every time she openes her mouth.
Those are my words by the way, not West’s. Murphy no doubt won’t like what I have to say either. I don’t care.
Maybe Murphy does not know what everyone else knows: When Little Debbie’s lips move, a lie is being told. And Congressman West was right to call her “vile”.
Or maybe what Murphy did not like about what West said, is was because Congressman West, like many active duty and retired high ranking military officers, is not anti-gay, but was not in agreement with open homosexuality in the United States military. The reasons for this are many, they have nothing to do with being “anti-gay”, and West is hardly the only military veteran to oppose it.
Commandant of the Marine Corps, four star General General John F. Amos, also opposed it. On the other hand, Admiral Mullen of the Navy was not opposed to it.
These two opposing views speak well to literal division that was in the ranks over open homsexuality in the military as repeal of Don’t ask don’t tell” was being debated. As a former Lt. Colonel in the Iraq war theatre, Congressman West opposed it for the indentical reasons that General Amos did. West has a gay relative, and is not “anti-gay”. But maybe Murphy does not know this. We don’t know what West said in Congress or on television that bothered Murphy so much, it could be any of the above since all are used against West by far left liberals who despise him.
But one of the few things we know that Murphy openly supports is the LGTB (Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, and Bisexual community). And the LGTB launched a major hate campaign against West for his stance. Since Murphy admittedly supports the LGTB, this may indeed be what Murphy took exception with. They hate West too, because of his stance on repeal of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell”. It is unknown if they also hate General Amos.
In the end, it does not matter. It is now a non-issue. However, conducting a witch hunt and singling out West as a target by this community for echoing the thoughts of our finest commanders, was wrong. Very few who conducted the hate fest were actually in the military, they had no plans to go into the military, are probably still not in the military, and they were oblivious to the fact that West had valid concerns shared by the highest ranking officers in our Defense Deparment.
It never occured to them that personal agenda’s have no place in the military. Apparently it never occured to Murphy, who doesn’t like West because of “things he said”, that personal agenda’s have no place on the voting ballot either.
Like many Democrats who hate Congressman West, we see that where Murphy is concerned, it is not about love of our country or her best interests. It is a personal vendetta of some sort because of “things” West supposedly said. It is Democrats such as these who are the most vile and heinous slanderers of the pack. They attack Congressman West from all quarters, and even have the audacity to claim he is a “war criminal”. When the truth is, not one of them, including Murphy, has ever done anything for this nation on a par with Allen West.
They love to claim that Congressman West is a “war criminal”, which is a false charge and it is nothing short of heinous slander. The military never convicted Lt. Colonel West of “war crimes”. He was fined under Article 15 proceedings, which are not criminal, but tantamount to civil court. He retired with full rank and honors. The slander perpetrated by such unethical people stems from the following facts:
While serving in Taji, Iraq, West received qualified information from an intelligence specialist about a plot to ambush his unit. The alleged plot reportedly involved Yahya Jhodri Hamoodi, a civilian Iraqi police officer. West had his men detain Hamoodi. Soldiers testified that in the process of detaining Mr. Hamoodi, he appeared to reach for his weapon and needed to be subdued. Hamoodi was beaten by four soldiers from the 2/20th Field Artillery Battalion on the head and body. West then fired his pistol near Hamoodi’s head, after which Hamoodi provided West with names and information, which Hamoodi later described as “meaningless information induced by fear and pain.” At least one of these suspects was arrested as a result, but no plans for attacks or weapons were found. West said “At the time I had to base my decision on the intelligence I received. It’s possible that I was wrong about Mr. Hamoodi.”
West was charged with violating articles 128 (assault) and 134 (general article) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. During a hearing held as part of an Article 32 investigation in November 2003, West stated, “I know the method I used was not right, but I wanted to take care of my soldiers.” The charges were ultimately referred to an Article 15 proceeding rather than court-martial, at which West was fined $5,000. Lieutenant Colonel West accepted the judgment and retired with full benefits in the summer of 2004. Asked if he would act differently under similar circumstances, West testified, “If it’s about the lives of my soldiers at stake, I’d go through hell with a gasoline can.” At his hearing, West pointed out that there were no further ambushes against American forces in Taji until he was relieved of his leadership post on October 4. After West’s retirement he received more than 2,000 letters and e-mails offering him moral support. A letter supporting West was signed by 95 members of Congress and sent to the Secretary of the Army.
I will say to you now, in addition to all of those who supported West then, and those who support him now, it is safe to say that Ambassador Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, and 3,000 Americans killed in the first 911 by terrorists, would not call Allen West a “war criminal”. Lt. Colonel West’s troops certainly would not. In addition, while those who are enjoying the protection provided by West and our troops call him a “War Criminal”, they utterly choose to ignore the following honors he earned in service to and protection of, our nation. West recieved the following:
West’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star; Meritorious Service Medal (two Oak Leaf Clusters); Army Commendation Medal (three Oak Leaf Clusters, one Valor Device); Army Achievement Medal (one Oak Leaf Cluster); Valorous Unit Award; Air Assault Badge; and the Master Parachutist Badge.
Meanwhile, the night Lt. Colonel West was preparing his troops to deploy to Iraq, Patrick Murphy, who has opposed West over “things he said”, was being arrested (see above). So where were we? Oh yes. Murphy does not like the things West has said, and it provoked Murphy to run against him.
If it is none of the above things that West talked about, maybe Patrick Murphy does not like what Congressman West has to say about the struggle to maintain freedom in our country. In one of his finest speeches, Congressman West addressed how we first came to be free, and the many military battles since that time fought by our brave veterans that made sure not only America remained free, but also delivered millions in Europe and elsewhere from tyranny.
That speech was called “The Flame”, and if you have not heard it, this may be a time for you to hear it now. Because if Murphy and his helpers have their way, you may not have a chance to hear many more speeches from this outstanding patriot:
Maybe this type of talk is what offended Patrick Murphy so much. But many Americans hold it dear. I am one such American. I still recall the first time I heard Congressman West speak. The nightly news was droning on and on in the background as I was distracted with something else. But I heard a word that means a great deal to me that I had not heard in the public arena in a long time – much less on the news. The word was honor.
And from that point on, I paid attention to Congressman Allen West. As he confronted major issue after major issue of national import, he came to be a voice the Democatic party despised for his boldness, and for his willingness to openly confront both the lies within their party, and very serious issues of national security that they would just as soon sweep under the rug. Congressman West became the only politician I have ever fully trusted and believed in.
I have supported others in the voting booth. I have agreed with many. But I have never seen a modern politician brazen enough to be a warrior within the halls of Congress. With determined courage, Congressman West has defended the best interest of our nation on all fronts and tackled issues others ran from. He has done so with courage, fortitude, and a boldness sadly lacking in others. Following the American Revolution, some of our finest warriors that won that battle became statesmen. And in this way, those who fought for our freedom on the battlefield were able to continue to do so and preserve our nation’s liberties. General George Washington did so, just to name one of many. They hung up their military uniforms, and continued to fight for America in our Houses of State.
Congressman West is a tried and true patriot. Both on the battlefield and within the halls of the legislature. And we cannot merely sit idly by and allow this to happen unchallenged. Too much is at stake. It is not too late. Congressman West is challenging the corruption of the vote committed by the St. Lucie County elections office, and the subsequent blunder, incompetency, and questionable events that handed Murphy a Congressional seat over a technicality. To learn more, to keep up with events, and to lend your support, see the latest at Allen West Republic.
Like many of our founders, retired Lt. Colonel Congressman Allen West is both a warrior and a statesman. He may have left the battlefields of Iraq. But he is first and foremost a patriot who has served this nation for his entire adult life, and he has done so contending for her best interest – always. And he has done so fearlessly in every arena, on foreign battlefields, and here at home as a Congressman. It is this very courage that has cost him. It cost him in Iraq, and it cost him in this recent election.
But it never should have. Like many Americans, I daily ponder what has happened to our country, and I am so very saddened by the sorry state of affairs we have arrived at. And I don’t know when it happened. I don’t know when bad became good, and good became bad. I don’t know when it became fashionable to vote for President’s who are endorsed by the Communist Party USA.
I don’t know when “revenge” and personal agenda’s gained enough momentum to eclipse the welfare and best interest of our great nation. I don’t know when it became a joke that dead people were being resurrected by the thousands to vote for such as these. I don’t know when it became acceptable to pretend voter fraud and corruption were not undermining the sanctity and vital importance of a fundamental freedom that is the foundation of our nation. I don’t know when it became all the rage to conduct witch hunts, and slander honorable patriots like Congressman West.
But I do know, freedom and honor are under seige in our nation. And today, the battlefield is in St. Lucie County, Florida.
It is with much sadness I provide this latest update. Once more I heard the word “Honor” today. Congressman West has had no choice but to give Murphy his seat. He has just provided the following statement. It is my hope, and the hope of millions of others that someday he will return to our Congress, the Senate, or even the Oval Office. No matter where he chooses to serve, it is without question he will continue to do so. Words cannot frame the sadness that I and many others feel at this moment. God bless you and your family sir. Many profound thanks for your honorable and invaluable service to our nation, both on the battlefield, and in Congress. Many will be watching for your return, keep up the fire.
“I want to congratulate my opponent, Patrick Murphy, as the new Congressman from the 18th Congressional District. I pray he will serve his constituents with honor and integrity, and put the interests of our nation before his own.…….
Only God knows what is in store for each of us. I have dedicated my life to serving this nation, and the results of this election will not change my purpose. Just as I did in the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan, just as I did on Capitol Hill, I will continue to fight for our Republic.
Our nation will not overcome our challenges overnight, and the road ahead for each one of us will not be easy. But this nation would never have become that shining beacon of light if our founders had chosen the easy path 236 years ago. We all must proudly continue their legacy.
For the protection and preservation of our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, I shall remain steadfast and loyal. God bless you and God bless these United States of America.” ~Congressman Allen West partial excerpt from his final statement, November 20th, 2012
